'Tis 'Kicking Out Time' at the pubs very shortly Andrea, so he'll be home soon enough!
October Mom-Ship couldn't have happened to a better person, in my opinion, and very many congratulations from Trousers, myself and BC.

Gosh, such lovely comments! I'm quite flattered.

The OH's back, he lost the tennis, and is in the shower. I'm off to bed as the day has been very long indeed.

Thank you everyone - what a lovely forum we have here.

I'm just gonna grin, cos you deserve it, i have only been here weeks and you are one of the members that was most welcoming ( i am sure the others, and they know who they are will be MOM's in their turn) and I have appreciated the welcome.
Gratz. and may all your veggies be big ones!

Edit: Oh dear I still have the banner
Didn't get any from the month before either! Didn't like to complain as it was my second MOM-hood and it seemed greedy - but if you haven't either, then I'll complain!!!

I sent a PM to Admin 2 weeks ago (24th) asking if I should be worried about missing parcel or if everyone had been too busy (bearing in mind that they'd asked for my address on the 2nd!) I still haven't had a reply to that PM

Heigh ho, I suppose we don't do it for the goodies!

Be nice if they could get round to giving Zazen her banner though

so let's look at this - 'they' take away almost all of your messaging quota and promise goodies that do not turn up - hum ......
.....so is MOM a punishment for being bad girls'n'boys then

Congratulations Zazen - another hugely well deserving recipient (I was spoting a number of very useful posts from you just yesterday that I said - hmmm, must try that/remember that, when I saw this thread and had to dash out the door for the toddler, so sorry it's a late congrats from me).

Congrats Zazen!! Enjoy your month! Many thanks for seeds and advice and for making myself and Happybunny feel welcome on the forum!(not that everyone else hasn't you understand)
Its just that you were generous enough to send seeds to Happybunny after noticing she'd replied to an old thread on the seed swap. It made her day!

Aw, shucks you guys.

My OH calls it 'an answer for everything', but I'll quote some of these at him next time we have the 'watering the leaves or the soil' conversation [like we did last night].

I'm off to the Growing Healthy Veg course at Ryton on Saturday; so if I find out anything really really interesting, I'll definitely be sharing.
