i say every year "never again" but i always do, good job they have to grow their own and recycle, they should get them a compost bin as well, i bet someone though has already grown the veg, they may just have to harvest it, otherwise they wont eat until the end of the programme!!

The first few series they used to grow their own, and kept chickens too!! But then it got a bit strange and I kept saying I wasn't going to watch it (until last year I really didn't). Just when I've weaned myself off, I may have to go back........

There are far too many odd balls in one place for my liking, it used to a cross section of daily life, now its a freak show. I like the idea, but I have had enough of reality tv.

Most of the people they seem to have in there don't seem bright enough to grow their own toenails!

piskie, its funny really!! i think i would make a great contestant, well so people tell me, i dont honestly know what they are getting at lol!!

i remember the first year they had chickens, they gave them names and one became ill which was a shame, then they gave up on the livestock, well apart from the animals in the show!!

Ditto Piskie. Can't abide reality shows though I do sometimes watch the ones for the musicals and can manage a bit of the dancing ones too. Never watch the whole shebang though.

I remember a couple of years ago, I was up in the middle of the night, and flicking through the channels when I came across the BB house, a camera monitoring the house. They were just all in bed asleep, really good TV, boring enough to send me back to my bed.
I've never watched the 'more interesting' bits, but I have been put off anyway by the newspaper stories. They are probably exaggerated I know, but...

If they have to grow their own veg, then I hope the standard of the participants is a lot higher than the "celebrities" who have been on the last few series. As HeyWayne says, most of them would have problems growing their own toenails!!!

Unless they're going to live on mustard and cress I think it probably means that they'll really just pick their own. Fortunately I haven't been subjected to this tosh since my daughter left home, but I remember a family holiday back during the first series when she spent the whole time on her mobile asking her friends what the latest 'news' was from the BB house, and sulking because we wouldn't go home a day earlier than planned so she could watch the final. If subsequent series have been as bad then I can't understand why it's still being shown. Even my daughter now realizes what rubbish it is.

Big Brother? Mindless telly for those who havent got a life of thier own! Never watched it, and am far too busy doing things to have time to sit and watch someone else doing nothing interesting!

Good!

Watching the lifecycle of a radish may be the most entertaining aspect of this now VERY stale show.

Sorry to disappoint, I LOOOVE IT lol, and your right i dont have a life!! sometimes watching someone else make a fool of themselves is far better than watching yourself do it!!!!

the kids are in bed, the OH is away a lot and i have the tv in the evenings, so some escapism is in order!!

ha ha - bring on the madness, plus i think Davina McCall is ace.

I'll be right there with you Squashy!I have a life,am blessed with a wonderful family & some amazing friends,am not below average intelligence, enjoy a good read & countless other activities, but after a day dealing with my life & all the other issues that come up within, theres nothing wrong with sitting down & watching some "mindless crop"& not having to make my brain hurt to much to follow whats going on!must admit it gets a bit boring wen they only focus on the rows&relationships,do BB not realise we'd be interested in watching people get on as much(more than)as constant bickering.Happy launch night Squashy!got my bottle of wine at the ready!(to drink!!)

Sorry if I came over as dismissive or unkind to those who like / follow Big Brother, each to their own n all that, just its not my cup of tea at all, I just can't see the attraction of watching a bunch of fame hungry folk couped up in unnatural surroundings for the enjoyment of others! Apologies if its your thing, and hope you enjoy it!

Should think so to!!these people with opinions!!honestly no offence taken,I totally appreciate that becoming a mum seems to have turned my brain to mush!!3 weeks from now i'll have some reality tv peeps to vent my anger at insted of the hubby & kiddywinks!!if they're really irritating might not have to wait that long!Sorry if my reply earlier made you feel bad,at end of day it all a bit of fun but the watchers arent all totally without intelligence, just need that little bit of an escape from reality!even if it is a reality show!
