How do I change them back to what they used to look like - do I hold down F5 and tap CTRL a few times???????

I also like the new look, the extra width takes getting used to,i have to look left & right, instead of forward ,lol, everything else is good.we will all adjust with time.

How about pressing F5 and then CTRL a few times instead?

Like the new website. One question - at the top of my screen where the GYO banner there's a white block that says "Loading". What's loading? Been there for a couple of days now.... I've tried waiting patiently for it to load, but it doesn't seem to be doing anything!

There is another ad banner above the first post - sometimes for GYO mag, sometimes Let's Grow Veg and now they are showing the Wildlife Garden one too. Is that the one that is not loading properly for you?

Guess that must be it - I can see the ad for GYO June issue. Since the website was updated I've had this box up there that just says "loading". Not causing me any problems, but would be nice to know why it's doing it.

One thing about the new website which I don't like ....

Just noticed it today is that the arrows on the left hand side which remind you that you have posted in that thread have turned into tiny orange pencils- not easy to see when scanning through 50 posts or more.
If they were black they'd be clearer.
Or better still....left as they were

If I've started a conversation, and am interested in other people's replies, I'd hate to miss the reply/update

Probably not the right place to post this question, but is there a way of marking a thread that you are particularly interested in so that you can call it up without having to remember / hunt for it? I've had a look in FAQ but couldn't find anything related to it, though may not be looking in the right place. hints and tips gratefully received. I often see posts that I want to follow but then forget what they were and miss them!

You can subscribe to threads (see additional options below where you post the reply)and elect to get email when there has been a new post on the thread.

Thanks Shirley, I'm now being totally dense, could you explain a bit more please, I don't see where you mean. Do I have to have replied in order to mark a thread?

Not sure about that, but while I am typing this reply I can scroll down the screen and there is an 'Additional options' box below where I am typing. In those options there is a Thread Subscription box where you can choose what notification you wish to receive. I have seen some posts in threads that simply say 'replying in order to subscribe thread' or likewise so perhaps you have to reply. Sorry, not techie enough to explain fully
