It was 2 heads of garlic
to 2 pints pf water boiled for a few mins then made back up to 2 pints again. Add 1 tablespoon of garlic solution per 1 gallon of water, she also said to water on in the day so it gets chance to dry on the leaves.![]()

That's exactly how I remember it too.
Do you think it would work on all plants not just hostas? Not got any hostas as my last garden was OVERRUN with them and it took me years to get rid of them all. But got lots of slug-loving plants. janeyo |

I'm hoping so Janeyo; I was thinking of trying it on whatever I plant this spring because I hate using slug pellets and nothing else seems to work.

I bought a garlic spray to use on my plants & I think it seems to be having some effect but I think I'll have a go at making my own from the G.W. lady's recipe when it runs out, probably works out a lot cheaper!
