Default Gardeners World Show

Sluglobber's thread reminded me...

On Tuesday I wash putting out the washing when I hear 'do you want to go to Gardeners World this year?' from the kitchen

I walked indoors to find himself reading my GYO mag. I needed a chair or comical matress to colapse onto as Mr Shortie definately hasn't got green fingers and gets a very glazed look when I talk 'green stuff' to him

He's read an advert for Gardeners World later on in the year (sorry not got the mag infront of me at work, lol and can't remember the date).

Anyone else going from the vine or GYO offices? With an offer like that from Mr Shortie I think I'd be incredibly rude to refuse

**EDIT: Oops, GYO never sadi they were having a stall there**

I'll have to look it up when I get in. Might persuade LadyWayne to accompany me.

I'll just stand in the middle with a GYO flag, you'll see me.

It's usually a very good show although rather expensive. Last year for the first time to my knowledge they combined it with a good food and home show. The food one was good but the home one a bit rubbish. However, I'd personally prefer it to stay true to form as I haven't got the energy for more than one show in one day!

I used to go every year to GW Live it started off very good then it got more and more each year like an Ideal homes exhibition. It was started off by Geoff Hamilton as a garden show for the people in the midlands as the north had theirs and the people in London had theirs but here in the midlands there was nothing. He would turn in hes grave if he could see what they have done to it now. It was supposed to be a garden show with plants for sale. Now you can buy everything from tipis, furniture, beauty products, conservatories etc etc and is now way to big and over crowded but that is just my opinion. I gave up on it two years ago. The Malvern spring and autumn shows are far better.

If you buy tickets online put GWS into the promotion code bit, you will get a bit of a discount.
