| Or by 100% if you use a bike (powered by pasta )Cheapest Petrol & Diesel: Drive down the costs by 20%... The tip that surprised me was to fill up at night as you get more fuel when it's cold. I also didn't know that you shouldn't fill your tank up full - the extra weight of the fuel costs you more to drive it around. Mr Sheds has just come round to the idea of not revving, accelerating and braking so hard - to slow down gradually instead of emergency stopping all the time - better for my nerves as well as the car.

| The only problem with 1/4 tank if it is diesel you create a lot of moisture which eventually turns itself into ice in the filter on the coldest morning of the winter . I was told this by a haulage contractor that i worked for and his instructions was fill up every night and it seemed to work jacob

| My LPG driven truck runs better on a full tank (at less than half the price of petrol!, I may add ) cos the gas pressure is higher when it's full!![]()
