| I don't know how many books we have got. We buy a lot of books. I also scour charity shops. I have some gardening books down the shed on the plot. Did a quick count - 60 gardening books, but then that excludes those down the plot. A couple of my favourite ones I found at Amazon - Great Garden Companions, and Gardener to Gardener: Almanac & Pest-Control Primer (both from the US). I have a lot of science books, including natural history. OH has a large geology/caving/mining collection. Little one has a load of books, and is currently reading the CIA (Cows In Action) series. A few years ago, we bought Encyclopedia Britannica from the library - the 1973? ones for £20. Also got World Book, Caxton Encyclopedia..... too from them.

| Depends on the definition of books really. I've collected gardening books for years and have about 200 I think. But that doesn't include all the French journals, which are 60 pages long and are like books, very detailed - probably have about 100 of those. And long runs of gardening magazines also, now French and English.

| I didn't count the journals & magazines, or the ones I have in German.
