I've got one in the corner somewhere. TV, not pig's bladder!

I'm with Flummery - haven't got a clue how big a premiership football club pitch would be! However, as a younger person and before we moved to the family smallholding, we had a lovely house with an acre and a quarter garden (that's how I came to have a pony - he helped with grass control on the slopes)

Sorry Piglet, I cheated. I looked at the Moles seed catalogue, and the Chantennay 2 Red cored is £2.24 per 25 grams.

At 8-900 seeds per gram, I work that out as a minimum of 20,000 seeds.

How big an area would that seed?

Better - but I make double bed quilts (mostly). Some people specialise in miniature quilts - for doll's houses!

If I could be mithered to do the sums I could work out the no. of double quilts couldn't I? But guess what? I'd rather be quilting! (Or chatting here!)
