Default Sun (4 x £9.50) Holidays again

Anyone who has been before might have already got a priority form. Anyone else who is interested the tokens will be in The Sun starting this Saturday (5th Jan).

We've been on loads, because they are so cheap. Although there is only two of us you have to pay a minimum of '4 adults price' ie £38. But that can be the total cost of a short break (4 nights mid week or 3 nights weekend) if you don't don't have the 'extras' and find the parks with free 'service charge' (there are still some).

Anyway I'd just thought I'd let anyone who collects the tokens know to look out.

Yeah! I got mine this morning. Brian and I used to go on them with some friends, not any fun without him but I haven't stopped the leaflets coming - I might be interested again one day.

We didn't think it would be "our thing", but found it was a really cheap way of having a bed for a few days and having more money to spend on what we wanted to do.

The only downside is that we ALWAYS got our last choice of where we wanted to go. Usually resulted in us seeing places that we wouldn't have known about otherwise.

I agree with you Janie its great for a 'bed' as a base. Unfortunately we feel the cold in caravans a bit more as we get older! But some of them nowadays even have central heating.

If you've a priority form you can 'collect' the 6 passwords and book online with your credit/debit card. It helps us pay when we don't have the cash and means you immediately know what Park & date you'll get as it confirms it online. Much better than collecting tokens. Think you have to collect tokens and send the form back if you want the European sites - which aren't in the priority form.

There's always a thread on MSE where I hope to get the online booking passwords, if anyone is interested I'll post them on here? Perhaps you could persuade some friends to go with you?
