  • what to fill raised beds with?

Im doing quite a high deep raised bed and was wondering should I fill it with levels of different stuff or just compost and soil?

I have got loads of cardboard, home made compost, shop compost and soil.
    Should I add something different?

Im doing high ones due to the bairn pulling out most of the stuff I have grown this year :/

    Thanks guys
    Jen

Fill it with whatever you can
Lasagna beds would be one way

With all you have lasagne beds would be the way to go.

Yup lasagne, lots of cardboard, newspaper, green grass clippings, leaves, Straw, veg peelings (but not potato skins, they shoot) half made compost, even woollen clothing. keep the soil and compost for the upper layer.
