  • First allotment

    Hi.
Me and father in law just got our first allotment at the end of April, it stood empty for a few year but was a great garden in its day.

We pulled the old greenhouse leaving the block work as we had already begun collecting old pvc windows.
We saved the old glass for our roof.
Few pictures of our progress so far.

Wow, that looks fab, what a transformation. If ever there was a 'Buckingham palace' greenhouse, that would be the the one I would have in my imagination, it's huge and looks awesome. Does a structure of that size need planning consent, or is it not covered by the need?

Looks like you will be the envy of the site, well done you

Hello Chris & welcome to the Jungle, you've done a brilliant job there. You should be able to furnish it & rent it out..............I've put your last pic through the photorotator:

It's the same size as the greenhouse which was already there. The red brick is just printed vinyl.

I love the printed dog at the door - very envious of all that space max we can have on the allotment is 6 x 4 foot and it's supposed to be a shed or a greenhouse so far I've got away with having both
