These are dwarf broad beans - Robin Hood.

Really pleased with them as they only grow 3 ish foot tall and each pod has had 5-6 beans in.

Forgot to mention that all my beans were grown 3 plants to a MFB

        Runner beans - St. George

Sowed 13th April. Planted out 9th May. Started picking/eating 25 June. Still eating

Largest one in pic is approx 11 inches. Not the largest grown but a very good size for eating - after that they start to become a bit tougher. Not had any stringy ones though.

LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.
