The thing I'm most proud of this year: St. George Runner Beans.

These have been a delight to grow, the bees adore the white and red flowers, we've been picking them since June and now getting such a great crop and more than we can eat from only 4 plants. Taste lovely (my young daughter gives them the thumbs up too) and not stringy at all so easy to prepare for cooking. Hubby is sick of hearing me talk about them

LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.

          Fartichoke...

I grow fartichokes for their beauty and 'architectural' presence - I should try cooking them sometime. Wonder if there's a homebrew recipe for them?

I already put beetroot in the root veg category, so I'll use this to show me carrots!

Could not find a category for Sweetcorn so I've posted here. If it's in the wrong place can a Mod please move it or point me in the direction of the correct thread please.

Very chuffed with "Swift" normally I grow Lark but they cleaned up and skin and tassel removal was so easy.
