        My plate of eggs.
        3 big white one are from my turkeys
        2 small white are from my leghorns ( there 2nd day laying )
        Middle egg from one of my Orpington's
        The other 2 are from any of my 5 other girls. Or as I call them free loading little bar stuards

          I know I know... white eggs have gone pretty much out of fashion but my hens all lay white now. Fresh white Sicilian eggs, and the last (blown) brown egg laid by my beautiful White Marans hen who passed away earlier this year, aged six or seven, still laying even at that age, bless her.

            Sorry to hear about your Marans Nelly. I have a maran who is about 8, she rarely lays an egg but today was the day that she did me proud
