Is it an alpine strawberry with the fruit picked off? The "bud" shape looks similar to a strawberry as does the circle of leaves and the way the stem comes out of the leaf "girdle".

The biscuit goes to PaulW, it is indeed Alchemilla Mollis (Ladies Mantle) the flower is about 5mm and if you ssaw the leaves it would be agive away ..... thats why you can't see them
