    Help Needed

    hi guys i wish to show 3 bulb fennel in addition to the usuals at my local show next week(chertsey) in the "other veg" class

    What would be the best way to show them???

    laying flat on a 2x1 or upright in water baths, they are about 18 inch tall

    Anyone know of some good links with actual pics

    Tony, I've moved your post into it's own thread, as it has to do with an actual show, rather than the Virtual Show.

    I don't know about your fennel I'm afraid, but have you looked on the NVS website? They have lots of useful info, or maybe on Medwyn Williams website, also lots of showing advice there.

      tks hun yes have tried the sites, no info on fennel but got plenty of ideas for my cucumbers and courgettes

        Would they stand on onion rings, under a cloth? if I see our allotment chair over the weekend I'll ask her, she shows at all the big shows up here.

          it would make sense to sit them in a bath of sorts to keep the foliage upright

          will be picking about 6 on the morning, displayed by 9 and judged at 10.30, then they have to stay for 2 days

          I shall defo enter them in the virtual show they are stunners
          any ideas anyone,
