We just noticed on Thursday that the Great Tits had come back to the garden, then on Saturday the Times said one could now hear the GT calling again: 'teacher, teacher'

Weird how they all come back on the same weekend, huh?

Today I had a huge gang of travelling tits. The long tailed tits appeared first, quicly followed by the blue tits, great tits and coal tits. Maybe about 60 birds in total. The gang didn't hang around long. For whatever reason they all gathered in the spindle tree, then they were off.
