  • What still blooming in your garden.?

Do you still have colour in your garden? Looking at my garden this sfternoon I was surprised to see the variety of flowers still in bloom.
I have begonia, pansy, geranium, fuschia, lobelia, morning glory, french marigold, dahlia and chrysanths.
Quite good for this time of year I think.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

I have Fuchsias, Nicotiana alata grandiflora, some blue geraniums, some self seeded double Feverfew, the Solanum jasminoides 'Alba' in the hedge and the roses have just started their 2nd flush of bloom.

Considering that I don't grow chrysanths and dahlias, the usual Autumn bloomers - I'm pleasantly surprised by how much colour there still is

Yes all my annual flowers from seed still flowering. Since removing my tomato plants,my whirlybird cream nasturtiums have had a growth spurt, they look lovely & are still producing new flower buds,I've managed to make one climb up the emptyish trellis. French marigolds & geraniums are great, petunias have powdery mildew on a few of the plants. The petunia that has good aeration all around doesn't have the mildew,so I probably overcrowded the others. My basils now flowering outside too.

Roses in pink, red and yellow all on their second bloom of the year, ornamental cabbages and kale, pansies and violas, cyclamen and next door's pink hollyhocks overhanging the top of our fence
LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.

Yellow rose, cupid's dart, hardy fuchsias, cyclamen, a bit of borage, a tiny bit of sedum that I thought had died but is struggling on, a little (new) pot of michaelmas daisies, sweet peas, the echinacea is just dying back now, one agastache flower left, and one little night scented stock which was the only seed to grow, from a trayful.

Gosh, a lot more than I thought, then.

At the moment I have a couple of dandelions on the lawn but the nasturtiums in some tubs are going strong.

I've got some deep red sedum that looks gorgeous this year. I've never really liked it but I've changed my mind it's looking great.
I also have some dahlias, rudbeckias, cornflowers (second flush) carnations and some fuschia.
