Can i use spent compost from my veg containers to fill pots and containers for spring bulbs???

I would have thought so. The bulbs already have their flowers in them but as soon as they have flowered they will need something better to grow in to build up the bulbs for next year. Either that or you will have to feed them until the leaves die down naturally.Gardening requires a lot of water - most of it in the form of perspiration. Lou Erickson, critic and poet -
Yes, they should be fine. As roitelet says, they will need feeding after flowering.Comment
