My OH is trying to grow sunflowers but they have turned a bit leggy. I was just wondering can he pot them on and bury them to the first leaves like you can with toms?

Carrie even sunflowers that I've sown direct into the beds seem to have about 2 or 3 inches of stem before the seed leaves so I think so long as they're not too leggy those plants will be fine.Location....East Midlands. -
Thanks Bren. I will tell him to stake the sunflowers so they are not flopping over.
