  • Spring is on it's way!!

I've no spring flowers yet- but wondered if anyone has any daffs/crocus etc in flower??

After all the white I noticed some green grass beneath one of my trees and was really pleased..no signs of flowers yet- but maybe some of you are lucky?

Here are a few I've borrowed off Google....

We've had some greenage growing from various bulbs we've planted over the years (that the squirrels haven't devoured). Can't tell you what they are though.

Some Grape Hyacinth, some Snowdrops, some Daffs, some Narcissus and some Anemones.

That said, even when they've flowered I'd probably struggle to tell you what they are!

No new growth visible under the snow here, yet. But have you noticed how much lighter the evenings are getting already?

And I thought the last of the three was a blueberry.

My snowdrops are out. They are an early variety. Wish I knew which one.
Why didn't Noah just swat those 2 greenflies?

Why are they called apartments when they are all stuck together?

As you know, my daft daffs have been out since Hallowe'en, as have my primroses. No sign of growth from the hellebores yet, or anything else.

My indoor amaryllis (I know, it's now hippeastrum) has started to sprout, and I've potted up some tulips for indoor cheer.

I have a white polyanthus in flower, and the daff bulbs are putting their leaves up. Nothing else yet though.

I just saw this mention of hellebores, which we love, and went out to my back garden (the bit that is designed by my mate, a professional hard landscaper, to be 2 degrees warmer than it should be in winter) to check. My 'white' (you know, greeny, yellowy, whitey) one is coming into flower, my steel blue one is looking ridiculously healthy and my pink one - well I can't remember where I put it. May look in the front garden tomorrow. You see I don't have a veg garden, a flower garden, a fruit garden etc. I love growing hellebores next to the broad beans and the oregano. I may have other hellebores somewhere. I'll find them when they flower.
