  • Sowing Sweet Peas into Seed Compost

I brought some JI Seed compost last year (quite a bit ) and I have had it stored in the Greenhouse. I was going to sow my sweet peas in it during the autumn but never got round to it. Would it be alright to sow my sweet peas into it with it being put into sweet pea tubes for eventual planting out or would I be better using a MPC? Thanks

Sweet peas aren't too fussy. I usually use MPC because it's cheaper, but I have used JI seed in the past and it was fine.

        Just a quick question.

I have my Sweet Peas growing in newspaper pots standing in plant pots. Just picked some up and there's loads of tiny white insects running around on the damp paper! Any idea what else could be. I can take a photo once OH is home.
