Default Sad Christmas Tree :o(

Sorry wasn't sure where to put this so feel free to move it to a proper place!

Anyway it's looking sooooooooo sorry for itself, the pines have mostly gone brown and I'm at a bit of a loss with what to do. It's one of the ones which the needles stay on if you know what I mean.

Kept it watered and have now put it in the shade incase that was it! Don't want it to die as it's been useful for the past 2 years!

Is it in a pot Rachel? If so maybe it justs needs potting on into a larger pot, it's probably the wrong time of year to do this but if it's looking really poorly you could give it a try. Also it would probably appreciate a feed of Epsom salts or a specific conifer feed. It may have been dried out & scorched in this heat so it will appreciate a bit of shade too as you say. I had a Christmas tree which I brought in each year for about 3 or 4 years & it just upped & died on me one year so they may not like being in & out every year & just give up the ghost after so long!

Thanks Sue. It's in a huge pot already which is nearly the same size as the tree!

I didn't realise you could get food for it so I might try that. It's still got patches of green on but not much

If those don't work I might just plant it in the garden somewhere and make it an outdoor tree if it survives!

Rachel, try feeding it and i hope it comes back to life, if it doesn't you will need to have a funeral for the poor tree
