  • re-use compost for flowers?

    Can i use multi purpose compost that has had veggies in for planting flowers in for spring??I have a large planter i want to put alliums in and wanted to know if i could re-use the compost.

    Can't see why not? A bit of charcoal added would sweeten the soil and help with drainage through the winter months?

      NA Kays sell some stuff that you mix with compost to replace all the nutrients that will have been used up/leeched away from the compost

        yes I would, for bulbs and annuals.
