The cordyline and eunymous really set it off a treat.

I love these. Thinking of buying some perennial ones (seeds) off ebay in various colours. Can't get enough of em. Don't think my neighbours agree though...

I've been leaving the red poppies this year, because of the war anniversary. They will seed themselves everywhere and keep coming up for the next 20 years, of course; but they are very easy to pull up if they are in the way of your plants.

I don't want to kill it but it is roughly in the centre of the plot' is it possible to move it somewhere else?

I love poppies (is that the plural of poppy, doesn't look right) and yours are beautifull

You can try moving it but because they have a taproot it does upset them.

I don't mind stuff like poppies coming up, they look pretty and make good compost if you don't let the seeds develop!

I sowed poppies on the Plot deliberately, amongst the broad beans, not all have survived, but I like them to. The pink one is at home.

Are these actually as pink as they look in the pic? I didn't even know poppies came in pink! They're absolutely beautiful.

I think they're more purple than pink and they come in all sorts of colours. Have a look on ebay. There's gazillions.
