Default poppy seeds....

Are all poppy seeds edible? We've got oriental poppies and some little yellow ones and i'm wondering if i can harvest the seed to use for breadmaking, etc...
thanks

I asked a similar question recently and apparently only the Opium poppy seeds can be eaten.
I bought a packet of Shirley mixed poppy seeds which should 'fit the bill'. A nice range of pastel shades of flower also!
