  • Palm Problems

We have an indoor palm, about a 1.5metres high, which lives by a south facing window on the second floor. It's begun to go a bit brown and crispy in parts - could it be the fault of overwatering or perhaps it's objecting to having been repotted?
I have no idea about non-edibles. It's my ma's plant so I said I'd ask the experts!

Maybe the pot it's in is too small. Palm roots really spread out. A former neighbour planted a palm tree in his garden which grew over six metres and the roots were found under the tiled floor of his next door neighbour.

Sorry to jump on the back of this thread, I have a palm which I started from pit, its doing really well, and is currently about 12" tall to the highest leaf at the moment.

I need to repot it, to allow it some more root spreading space, but not sure what compost would be best for it.

            Any suggestions?

            Thanks
