  • overwintering fuchsias

I have some lovely ones in pots in my garden.
Has anyone buried fuchsias in a trench on the allotment over winter.
If so, when did you bury them, how wet was the filling,
when did you dig them up?

Depends on what sort of fuchsias are they, some are hardy and some rather tender?

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

All I ever done with mine is put them in a shed or greenhouse over winter and made sure they were frost free and not too dry. Some make it and some don't. I think the safe way that most people use is cuttings.
