  • not sure if im allowed to ask but here goes...re rose petals.

Im not sure im allowed to ask this (if not just tell me & remove the thread) but does anyone on here have a lot of rose bushes & would be willing to dry the rose petals for me? I would pay for postage etc for them to be sent to me...

If not does anyone knowof anywhere CHEAP in lancashire i can get it from? Our budget isnt going very well so i need to save as much cash as possible.

Im need to have biodegradable confetti for my wedding venue & the prices some websites charge is unreal! So thought i would ask on here.

If im not allowed to ask sorry for doing so

Why don't you get a dehydrator and dry your own? My dehydrator cost less than £30 and I'm finding it really useful for all sorts.
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

If nobody comes forward on here:

Why don't you walk around your village/town and knock on a few doors and ask them to dry them for you? Or go round when the petals are starting to fall and then knock on the door and ask if you can pick them up for them - or put an ad in the local post office/shop asking the same......you never know! Have you got any stately homes / large houses with rose gardens? Have you tried looking at the local Open Gardens Scheme and seeing who has large rose gardens in your area and call them up.....you never know.

Dehydrator uses: drying rasps, strawberry, tomato, kiwi, mushroom, apple - all in slices, chillies, herbs - anything you can think of. And making fruit leathers.
