He does look a bit sick Ellasmum. Has he been standing out in very bright sun. Hostas tend to prefer a bit of shade. Even if a few leaves have been wasted the new leaves should come good. I find them very easy , hardy and trouble free - as long as the slugs don't get the initial new growths each year. He's maybe a bit scorched with sun, wind and rain - if so he'll be fine. Good luck and I hope he does well.

Going to get some copper tape for the pot tommorrow....
Its been in the shade but may have got a bit of frost. Is there anything I can do to give it a bit of a pep up and help it on it way????

The funny thing is that all the others are in the boarders with bark chips around them and the slugs have not touched them!!

I think it will pep up all by itself just as soon as this beepin weather improves. But I would do something about slug protection - they are a favourite.
