  • Lysimachia atropurpurea 'Beaujolais'

I have gone and bought one of these in the market for £2
and wondered if any other grapes had grown this?.
It is distinctive looking plant and looks a bit alien but I think
it is quite funky.I already have two other lysimachias which seem
to be tough as old boots but not sure about this one. Does it flower freely?
Does it mind growing in dry soil?

    Cheers

Think its more of a bog plant

Buy loosestrife Lysimachia atropurpurea 'Beaujolais': Delivery by Crocus.co.uk

Do not allow to dry out
But going by other Lysimachia's I reckon it will be ok! I just dug 3 up (not Beaujolais) as they were getting too big, I call them my beast plants as nothing seems to kill them
