  • Lilac Cuttings

This is probably the wrong time fo year for this but when is it a good time to take a cutting off a Lilac? My friend has a tree and I'd love a cutting to grow my own tree is this possible?

Humm how does one take a cutting?! Thank you for any help

the best way to increase from lilac is pulling up the suckers they send out from the roots. This time of year should be ideal. Have a look round the base of the tree to see if you can see any. carefully dig up as much root as you can. pot up and look after

i took some front next allotment from me in august and they are doing fine.
