  • Just a quick nip in for a plant I.d. Please

I opened my car door in the works car park this morning and the scent of this filled the car. Any ideas anyone? Is it a type of mignonette? I've googled them but I don't think it is. Expert opinions please X

IT could be any of those. I'll try and take a better photo tomorrow. My phone is rubbish though. It smells so strong and lovely. Do any of your suggestions have strong scents?

could it be the white form of valerian (Centranthus Alba)?

I see, now, that VC beat me to it

I'd go with valerian too but it's very early to be in flower

I think that the one that smells is the tall one at the back of the clump. It does look like a large migionett as you say. For the life of me I can't remember the name and I can't find my wild flower book
