  • Identify blue rockery flower.

I was walking down the hill from Windermere to Bowness yesterday.
On top of a garden wall was a blue flower with a white stripe.
The stripe went round the middle, it was not radial.
I quick surf it looked "like" Aubrieta or a forgetmenot type. Small about 8mm across.
    Forgot to get a picture.
    Any ideas ?
    Thanks
    Jimmy

Maybe it was a Lithodora? I used to have one like this in my last garden:

      Lithodora diffusa Blue Star

Took another walk, well the sun was shining and the pubs were open !
Found the plant again, not quite what I remember.
Blue with white edges. Zoom in to see more details.
Only phone camera so picture not brilliant.

Having said that, I think Martin looks like he's got it.

Best go back for another pint just to check?
