    Took this last night under an electric light so a poor image, but just after id of the sub species of this snow drop, I doubt it's rare but you never know.

      I've just had a bit of a goooogle for green ones and this page came up.....what an absolutely fantastic selection of snowdrops!....I can see where an addiction in collecting them would appeal!

        Lousy lighting, if the sun ever comes out I'll get a shot in proper light, the marks are green, but the petals are white. I messed around on photoshop a bit to make the green marks more visible.

          I am not a snowdrop person but if the petals are white I would say it is a common snowdrop - galanthus nivalis
