  • Hanging basket looks pants

Worst ever hanging basket. It doesnt seem to be growing. A few weeks ago I added some comfrey fertiliser and last week some seaweed.

Its not full it looks stumped. I used homemade compost which has been very successful in the veg garden. Ive done baskets for years but this year is rubbish - any advice?

What plants have you got in there? How many? How often are you watering it? How big is the basket? It's really difficult to give any advice with do little info.
    A photo would help.

Ive got pots and hanging baskets up, all using homemade compost - geraniums, lobelia, fuscia, couple of nasturtiums. I water them every day.

I think the hanging basket problem is general. I'm in Sussex but same problems here. Mine are reasonable at the moment. However I think it has been a case of too much fluctuation in temperature earlier in the year. The choice of basket and bedding annuals available here has been poor which suggests
Growers are finding it a problem too. Even their ideal greenhouse conditions need Mother Natures help. Friends say the same and folk we buy our stuff from have bought theirs in his year as opposed to bringing on their own nursery stuff. But then the upside I'd it's a great year for Clematis and some other things.

Did if off my PC in the end! Worst basket ever. I put some chicken manure pellets on it last week but still looks stunted and lacking.
