Hi anyone who can advise, or help about these flowers, I bought some ranulcus bulbs in Feb this year, planted them in pots in the greenhouse a couple of weeks later(beginning of March) without any heat, out of 50 red & 50 yellow, 5 red and 1 yellow has started to grow, emailled the guy I bought from, says have a little patience, yeah!, am 60 years old been growing flowers/ vegetables etc. for most of my life with little problems, maybe he is right?, never grown these before so any pointers would be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

Hello and welcome to the Vine 1969mags. what area do you come from, if it`s ranunculus you have, the fresher the seed are the better as older seed get stale and very poor germination, some time a chilling period helps, you could try sitting one or two of your pots in the fridge for a time to see if that helps
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.
