  • Giant bulbs, alliums etc

I remember last year Monty planted a giant bulb I can't remember what it was but it had a hole in the top...

I've seen them sold in shops until now 😃 so I got one. Has anyone grown these are they easy to look after?

    Thanks guyz

            Yep that's what he planted

They were sold as loose singles so there is no instructions, which thinking now.... it is a bit odd!

Plant at least 10inches deep and on its side to stop water collecting in the top. A little sand in the bottom of the hole will help drainage. They are tall so may need some support

Beware they stink of foxes so don't plant too close to the house and lily beetles love them. Having said that they are magnificent.
