I've just been admiring my Witch Hazel! I've always wanted a garden with all year round colour, but this is it in Feb!
What's cheering you up in your garden right now?

Masses of snowdrops and the hellebore buds are just 'unfurling'!

Love your witch hazel how long has it been in. I have always fancied one, is the scent good. Snowdrops are up and open many other things just on the cusp

I'm terrible for having great ideas for flowers in the garden and every year I promise myself I'll get some colour in the winter months, but somehow I never do, snowdrops, helebores and aconites have all been on my list for years!

The witch hazel has been in for about 15 years, it hasn't grown too big, but it isn't a highly fragrant one, I think they flower a little earlier. But it's half way up the garden and you have to trudge over the very soggy lawn to reach it, so we usually admire it from the house! I've always wanted one of the orange ones too.
