| Who says I've no patience? Finally after sowing them last summer I was able to repot from seed tray 4 red hot pokers and 4 evening primrose. Dunno what happened to the others in the seed trays but don't care as am happy I managed to wait so long before ditching the tray ![]() Can they go outside? been in cold g/h or do they need cossetting a bit longer? They are now in 4 inch pots, and both types of plants are about 4 inches or so

| I would leave them a little while, they will experience a certain amount of transplant 'shock' and additional stress in terms of cold winds etc might just be too much for them. Get them used to the outside conditions - and bear in mind that, if they're in pots, a hard frost may well kill the roots...... (bitter experience!!), so if you can, get them in the ground soon.
