  • Is this early.

Went out to tidy up my front garden this afternoon only to find all my dahlias are up after the winter.
I have been growing dahlias for years but cant remrmber them coming through this early.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

It is a bit early, but there's dahlias poking their heads up here as well.

One or two things are early this year Bramble. Best keep a weather eye open for frosts.

Be prepared to cover when required, if you do get frost damage wash with a fine spray of cold water from a hose or watering can with a rose fitted, and then cover with news paper or similar to avoid bright sunlight
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

          Is this early.
I covered them over with soil until its a bit milder.

In case you're wondering, Bramble, I've merged your 2 threads and moved them to The Flower Mill
