  • dwarf sweet peas

I have some dwarf sweet peas and i'm not sure where to plant them. do i need to plant groups together? or do they get quite bushy so need to be spaced out? I have a kind off raised bed that runs across the end of my garden which is about 3ft high and 6" wide. If i put them in here would they trail over the edge and how far apart would i need to space them?

    Any suggestoins welcome!

Sorry, just saw that you had put it in flower mill anyway

I find they need support or they flop down.....but hopefully a sweet pea expert will come along and give some advice on them trailing....I put mine in groups together and pinch them out for bushiness.

I think the dwarf ones are often used for hanging baskets and tall pots, so trailing over the edge of your raised bed should work beautifully

I'd angle them slightly to encourage them to go over the edge. I haven't grown dwarf ones, but I usually plant the tall kind in groups of two or three at the base of canes/posts, and feed them well.
