I was given one of those flowering begonias last Sept, and it's been going strong all winter on my kitchen windowsill. Yesterday I noticed it was alive with greenfly, so I stood it outside to treat with washing up liquid.
Problem was, I then had an unexpected visitor, and forgot all about it. The whole plant is a load of mush now after the frost last night. The greenfly are probably still alive

, I made some pointed remarks. DD and JD have gone to Canterbury, but OH has been watching rugby all afternoon, so nothing from him again
