    Christmas cactus repotting

    What compost would you use for repotting a Christmas cactus?
    Do I need to get house plant compost ? or can I make something out of MPC or home made or orchid compost?
    As you can probably tell. I haven't got a clue

    You can buy cactus compost, my mum repots hers. I'm useless with house plants I hand things over when suffering for some Tlc.
    Northern England.

      I planted mine into mpc and course sand last year and it is growing well, in fact it is thriving on neglect
      it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.
