  • Candytuft.....annual or perennial?

    Hi all
Bought two pots of white candytuft from spring fair this afternoon, (very pretty) but there seems to be some conflict on the various web sites I researched it on, as to whether is annual or perennial?
If anyone with experience, could please let me know, cos it will determine where I plant it
    Thank you x
Oh and PS if I want to grow more, is it easy to collect seeds or propegate it from cuttings?

I think the white one that is in flower now is the perennial one, Northepaul. The pink / lilac/ purple one is the annual one. I grew a tray of perennial ones once from seed - very pretty. I also grew annuals and let them replace themselves by self-seeding.
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

This is the perennial - it is like a little shrub and much woodier than the annual.
