  • Bright/nice smelling hardy perennial for pots?

I am looking for something (already grown) that offers a nice smell and looks nice which will last for a season or so, what can you recommend? We like the pinks/yellows/oranges/whites/purples etc.

Hows about cottage pinks? (You can even raise them from seed.) I've got some (not in pots but they'd do ok there) just by my front door and the scent is a fantastic greeting everytime I come in or go out. They come in all shades from white through pinks to deep maroon. You can buy the plants individually or some nurseries offer a pack of mixed named pinks. Mine came a s a mixed pack. I love them!
