  • Bargain plants

I see there's a plant supplier selling off 680 plants for £30.00 again this year, last year Small Pumpkin and Veggiechicken and myself (individually) purchased a batch, I still have the geraniums and the begin has that I got in my pack, I wonder what the other two have from their purchase or if they will be buying any this year, or if any other Grape buys a pack, let us know how you get on

I thought I was bad when I got 72 plugs for £7 from T&M in march. It seemed a great idea, I've loads of bare ground to fill. Then they arrived and I remembered that plug plants can't really go into frosty gardens.

My wife wasn't too chuffed to discover that I'd commandeered a 6' table, covered it in plastic, stuck it in the bay window, drilled holes in the bottom of 100 plastic party cups and filled them with tiny plants.

I've started planting them out now, so maybe 20 have gone, the remainder will pass out in the next few weeks. but 680? maybe if you're starting your own garden centre!

I was a bit late in seeing the second quote above, I am now wondering what to do with 680 plug plants= bacopa, petunias, lobelia and don't miss out the begonias. Would anyone like to buy some plants, 30p a plant with free postage going cheap so ideal for
                      chickens
