Looks like an Iris to me. The bearded ones that flower in april and may. If they are then they want to be planted with the top of the rhizome showing a bit above the soil then they'll flower better.
You'll probably get flowers next year.

If it is not an Iris it could be Hemerocallis (Day Lilly) but that would normally be in flower now.

Looks like a day lily (mine aren't flowering yet, cos I moved them recently).

Could it be a gladdy? Give one a tug and see if it has a bulb.

I'm no expert but my gladdies are pretty reliable for 100% flower per plant rate every year and are just blooming now. I'd have thought a hemerocallis or an iris, which, if mine are anything to go by, don't flower every year. I'd do what I usually do, wait, even for a year, to see the flower.
Why didn't Noah just swat those 2 greenflies?

Why are they called apartments when they are all stuck together?

The reason I mentioned gladdy was because last year I had some mini ones that were rubbish and only got loads of leaves which didn't do nothing, still shared them with mum and sister and they got the same
