Hello Blue and green,
Picture 17 is Sempervivum (always alive), sometimes known as hens and chickens and thrives on neglect. I have a lot and if you look on our blog blog.beaugut.com you will see them in flower looking a lot like triffids.

16 looks a bit like white campion - there's also red variety but not so sure. 15 looks a lot like gladioli ( check with Dame Edna) Number 12 looks like potentilla. Not too sure about the rest. Some other and much cleverer grapes will tell you about the rest.

Will try to help Blue and Green
I think
17 = house leeks, aka saxifrage something or other
15 = gladioli
14 = potentilla
12 = potentilla
11 = Fuchsia, could be magelanica or gracillis, can't tell from pic
9 = dahlia
7 = campanula
5 = montbretia
3 = rudbeckia
Hope that fills a few gaps but I'm sure Palustris will be along with the correct answers just shortly. We can always depend on him for that kind of help. A real expert.

I thought 7 looked like penstemon.
Are 2 and 10 petunia?
13 maybe some kind of hebe

Hi blue-and-green

18 looks like a lavatera (mallow)
15 most definitely a gladioli
13 a hebe

Wouldn't disagree with any of the others as I'm not that good at flowers either and the ones I recognise have been named.

Hi Blue-and-Green,

Hope this won't add to the confusion but I think that the flowers are as follows -

1 Fibrous Begonia
2 Petunia
3 Gallardia
4 ?
5 Monbretia or Crocissima
6 Japanese Anemone
7 Penstemon
8 Penstemon (Different colour or variety)
9 Dahlia
10 Petunia (Different colour)
11 Fuscia Maglencia or Ricottini (not sure of the spelling)
12 Potentilla
13?
14 Potentilla (Different Colour)
15 Gladiolli
16 White Campion ( a Weed but I think they are pretty and cultivate them)
17 Sempervivum
18 Japanese Anemone (Different colour)

Hope this helps

Sorry you can't see the pics Palustris. You could name them all for sure. Shame we've lost out on the help of an expert.

3 could be Gaillardia as stated but could also be a Gazania
4 is Hebe, type - Great Orme I believe.
5 is Monbretia type - crocosmia
6 & 18 as stated, Anenome

Just had another try,
Not sure I agree that 16 is White campion, it looks more like Saponaria officinalis alba plena, but maybe not.
14 Potentilla fruticosa alba may be either Vilmoriniana or P.f. mandschurica
To really id Hebes, you ned to be able to see a length of stem and the back and front of a leaf!
12Potentilla fruticosa again. Lots of named varieties.
6 Anemone japonica Honorine Jobert
5 Crocosmia (Montbretia is an invalid name, no longer in use).
Sorry it has taken so long.
