| Isn't lavender hardy? Have some which has been outside without protection for a few years so an unheated greenhouse would be fine.

| keep them in the greenhouse fine, on the dry side (def. not wet). Pot them up gradually, when they need it, ie. don't put them straight from a module into a big old pot.

| The garden still needs a lot of work and we will probably have a crane in it sometime before Christmas (big yellow lifting variety - not fishy bird). I would rather put them where they will stay early next summer than try to move them. Some are only 1" tall at the mo anyway!
